ShopifyIntegration Guide

Shopify Integration Setup

This guide walks through connecting your Shopify store to WarpWare. There are two paths depending on what access level you can provide.

What We Need From You

To connect your Shopify store, we need one of two things:

Frequently Asked Questions

Which option should I choose?
If you can share a temporary admin login, Path A is fastest (15 minutes). If you prefer not to share any passwords, Path B (Collaborator) is more secure and uses Shopify's built-in access management.
What permissions does WarpWare need?
We need read/write access to orders, products, inventory, fulfillments, and shipping. This allows WarpWare to pull orders, sync inventory, push fulfilment updates, and manage tracking.
Is my data secure?
All API tokens are AES-256 encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS 1.3. We never store your Shopify admin password. The custom app uses its own API token which can be revoked at any time.
Can I connect multiple Shopify stores?
Yes — WarpWare supports multi-store Shopify setups. Each store gets its own isolated connection with independent settings, sync configuration, and audit data.
Can I revoke access later?
Yes. You can uninstall the custom app from Settings → Apps at any time, or remove collaborator access from Settings → Users and permissions. This immediately revokes WarpWare's API access.
